They're very dishonest as they chose to only partially fix my vehicle so it's now inoperable thanks to them not doing an honest inspection and choosing to only fix what they felt like. When I took the vehicle elsewhere I found out AAMCO screwed me over.

While our repair work was under warranty (and at no fault of AAMCO, we had a replacement part fail). Our local AAMCO took the steps to make the fix speedy, ordering a more-costly replacement part and testing the fix several times, before handing over our keys. The Service Manager Jake was extremely professional, apologetic of the situation, concerned about our well-being and made best of the situation.

The staff was very kind, I will give them that. I took my car in for transmission issues, and a couple of leaks. I clearly stated what the issue was and they assured me that they would take a look at it. I then received a call saying it was just a couple of leaks, they were unsure what the issue is and that fixing the leaks should fix the problem. I was then charged a couple hundred dollars with signifiant labors costs. Maybe 2 days later, I find myself stalled out at a stop light for the same issue that I took the car in for that was supposedly fixed. Now I have to go somewhere to get this issue fixed again, and pay even more money that I donβt have.

So, I have been meaning to write a review about this place for awhile now. I just wanted to see if the repairs would last and sure enough, it did! So, let me explain what had happened to my rig. I bought a 2020 Promaster 1500 up in Portland. I drove it down near the California border. The transmission was going into limp mode. I had a shop down here do some repairs.... When I went back up to Portland for equipment being installed, it did it again but this time.... much worse. After 1.5 hours, limp mode and then after that, 1 hour, then after that 0.5 hours.... Ugh! So, I went to a dealer and found out some info on who worked on it. I went back to them (not this place) and they couldn't replicate the issue. Mind you, I have had my wife driving another vehicle to make sure we had secure transportation issues. Anyways, I called this shop, they picked it up from a dealer, and they tested it and found out a code! I told them to fix it! So, I drove back to my base of operations about 250+ miles, no issues! Then, we went all the way back up to Portland dropped off the van, no worries again (for equipment instillation). And recently, drove back down near the California border. They didn't
